What video editing software do you use?

Hey,

I want to put together my AFF jumps and put them on YouTube. All my jumps are on DVD.

Can you recommend some good (free or cheapo) software I can use to import these videos, add some text in between jumps, and play a song?

Something easy to use would be great. Don't feel like getting my head around some full-blown studio level software.

Windows Movie Maker doesn't do too badly and it part of XP or Vista, which ever you have.

No, No not Pinnacle Studio; if I could ever reach throgh the phone line and bitchslap someone it would be Pinnacle Technical Support. I had several versions (9,10 & 11) and have finally given up on the company. They're giving the storyline that all the "problems" are fixed in V12, but I wouldn't gamble on that one.

I've been using Magix Video Edit Pro for 3 years now, just upgraded to v.14 and it rocks. It costs about $50 and their support is pretty good.
