DSE 5 #2 September 25, 2008 Nope It'll be a while before WMP plays em', Microsoft has spent MILLIONS fighting AVCHD. They don't wanna recognize it. PM me, I'll set you up
frost 1 #3 September 25, 2008 Download the k-lite codec pack, it has the Media Player Classic included, works like a dream. http://www.download.com/K-Lite-Mega-Codec-Pack/3000-13632_4-10794603.html

dragon2 2 #5 September 25, 2008 I'd advise caution though with codec packs: they can royally screw up your pc. Only ever install one codec pack, and only if you have to. Installing the few codecs you need separately is far preferable IMO. ciel bleu, Saskia
frost 1 #6 September 25, 2008 They do give you a proper warning during the installation process ;) "Dont install ALL of the codecs, just the ones you need, less is more, uninstall the prior packages", etc. On my PC the "default" install of k-lite pack is working great. VLC player that i've been using for years wouldn't even consider avchd files... MPC is rocking them.
