I disagree. The PMW EX1 is better for jumping, as there is no bayonet to get dirty or air, less worry of vibration, and easier to set up due to no backfocus issue.
Besides, I jump an EX1, Norman jumps an EX1, Joe Jennings jumps an EX1, who better as a role model?

But the CX7, CX12 are my preferences for casual HD on a Memory Stick Pro Duo (MSPD) card, which is different than an SD card.

I jump a CX7 and it's excellent if:

You fly flat.
You can set up the focus properly.

Unfortunately, neither apply to me.

Are you doing hand cam with the cx12? How is the hype eye working with that, if you are using it? Pro's and cons,what kind of of photo's can you get with the handcam and hypeye?
