DSE 5 #2 December 14, 2008 Other than difficulty to mount, and my personal prejudice against Sanyo's non-standardized AVC (not AVCHD) codec which means you *may* have some editing issues, it's a decent little camera at 14Mbps. Haven't skydived with it, but have worked with it a bit on a tradeshow floor.

der-bene 0 #4 December 14, 2008 and how was the quality of the videos???
DSE 5 #5 December 14, 2008 nothing that I'm satisfied with, but I'm a snob. There is a reason that virtually everyone in skydiving (or other high-motion/activity sport) recommends Sony. Cuz it works, and delivers a good image.
der-bene 0 #6 December 20, 2008 so last monday i ordered the cam, yesterday it was here and now i'm trying to get it in my helmet. @dse i took a few videos outside, inside in the celler(no daylight) and of our dog running through the garden and i must say that all videos are in quality nearly perfect! i didnt try it in freefall but i'll post again when i finished blue skies
JanuszPS 0 #7 January 7, 2009 Any results and jumps with the camera? i'm very keen to see them as I think to buy it. I think a good thing is that there is possibility to install the wide angle to the camera directly. regards JanuszBack to Poland... back home.
