DSE 5 #2 January 2, 2009 SD-about 1 min HD-About 2.5 mins on my system. Speed is dependent on how your system is set up, to a degree. USB bus is shared with CPU. Firewire has its own bus. If you have an ESATA connection, I've heard these are much faster, but haven't tried one myself. Using the Express Card reader *seems* faster, but I haven't actually timed it. sdsouthsask 0 #5 January 2, 2009 Believe it or not but not all USB 2.0 readers are created equally. The one that sandisk puts out works very well and is very fast in comparison to others out there. velocityphoto 0 #7 January 2, 2009 I didn't figure i'd find much about the upload times since i never found anything in the past .I been researching the cx12 for awhile now .I broke down and bought one yesterday. Abes had it for 639.00 + xtra 4 hr battery for 45.00.I hated to buy it now because its our off season .
