freeflychef 0 #1 January 13, 2009 Howdy from Texas, I am in the process of finishing up my camera set up. My buddy has custom designed some brackets and we have mounted them to my helmet. Now I am looking for some sort of material that I can use to protect and secure my cameras in the newly designed camera holders. Right now, it is just raw metal and very secure fixtures.. Is there some sort of putty that hardens to form a good secure cushion for my gear? I have a few ideas, but I was hoping there was a miracle product out there."Chef Mikel " www.theskydivingchef.com Always remember: Eat safe, & Use condiments

velocityphoto 0 #3 January 13, 2009 I use cork on everything too. You can get it at any auto parts store. VideoFly 0 #4 January 13, 2009 Self-stick foam door weather strip works well. It compresses a lot, so you need it a little thicker than you eventually want it to be. Also, it doesn’t hold up real well with a lot of use over a long period of time, but it is cheap by the roll and easy to replace. I’ve had it under my camera for hundreds of jumps. I’ve also used the fuzzy side of Velcro tape, but I prefer weather strip.
