HSPScott 0 #1 January 20, 2009 Where can I get raw foam that they use for ear plugs? I was thinking about using it to fill in part of my camera box to make it a bit more snug. Thanks, Scott
Icon134 0 #2 January 20, 2009 I don't actually know the manufacturing process but would bet ear plugs are manufactured in the size/shape you find them in the box. However you might find something at 3M... which is one of the manufacurers of that sort of thing... If I was looking I'd start with Tape and the site appears to have a "Foam" Tapes section. Good luck... sorry I couldn't be more helpful. ScottLivin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...
Skydave103 0 #3 January 20, 2009 What about pick and pluck foam? http://www.caseclub.com/foam_stock.htm or a general search. http://www.google.com/search?q=pick+and+pluck+foam&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=com.kodakgallery:en-US:official&client=firefox-aLifeshouldNOTbeajourneytothegravewithawellpreservedbody,buttskidinsideways,cigarinone hand, martiniintheother, bodythoroughlyused upandscreaming:"WOO HOO!! councilman24 37 #4 January 26, 2009 memory foam may be the closest thing. You can get a twin bed 1" topper for $50 to $70 searching the web. Lots of foam for lots of uses. http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Memory-Foam-1-inch-Mattress-Topper/834925/product.htmlI'm old for my age.
