surt 0 #1 April 1, 2009 Hi all! I'm recently filming tandems and currently I have a 0.5 lens for my pc1000, I'm thinking about buying a new lens a bit wider and I'm not sure about which one would be better (I would want it too for my freefly funjumps) Which one would you recomend? 0.45 from waycool or cookiecomposites? or maybe a wider one like a 0.3? At those ranges you're going to get more variation in angle from lens to lens (and camera to camera) than from a .5 to a .45. Your best bet is to try a bunch; you never know what you're going to get until you try the two together. I have an HC1 with a Raynox .5 that works great. On the CX100 I have, the .5 gives me a much narrower field of view, and the .3 is a bit too wide.
