velocityphoto 0 #1 May 6, 2009 I'm looking for the option to lock my voice audio to the video clips? For some reason i can't find anything like this. Teigen 0 #2 May 6, 2009 Select the video clip AND the audio clip. Then press G to "group" them
DSE 5 #3 May 7, 2009 And be sure that "Ignore Event Grouping" isn't accidentally pressed on your Vegas toolbar. It's a common enough "oops"

howardwhite 6 #5 May 7, 2009 I see that Sony has announced a new Vegas Pro. Is it a major, must-have upgrade? (And how much?) HW
DSE 5 #6 May 7, 2009 I don't know the cost of the upgrade. If you're doing RED, AVCHD, and to a limited extent, HDV, then I think it's a valuable upgrade. For the tandem speed workflow, you don't need it, but it DOES render/preview AVCHD, RED, XDCAMHD and EX significantly better than anythign else (all native, of course). It has some cool new tools, and the new interface is nice. Most importantly, it doesn't make me ass look fat, so yes...you need it.
