grimmie 186 #1 August 5, 2009 Not to give to the TV shows or youtube. I am in charge of Skydive Perris' emergency response and will be training the local fire department, ambulance company and air ambulance company about skydiving related injuries. We are coordinating a more efficient response and care system. The problem I have is that the emergency personnel think every accident is a parachute not opening. I used to have a great VHS tape(I'm old) that had real incident two out, hook turns and canopy collisions on it. I used it to train the Eloy FD about 16 years ago and can't find it anywhere. It was a great training aid to explain the "mechanism of injury" to whuffos. If you have some recorded incidents and would like to help out please pm me. I am trying to get this done before Jump for the Cause and POPS in Sept. I promise none of your material will be seen on TV or the web. Thanks, Rich Grimm
DSE 5 #2 August 5, 2009 Rich, I believe Mike McGowan has a significant library of "carnage." You might contact him as a one-stop shoppe.
