halorob 0 #1 September 13, 2009 I had my cx-100 on record, with 4 gb sony pro duo. Filmed a jump. Went to look at video after jump and the video stops recording right when i get to door. Any ideas?

Any ideas? The first thing that popped into my head was... "Ahh, the wonderful world of camera flying..." I know that isn't helpful but... that is what I thought... I've had my camera stop recording upon climbing out before... I think when it happened to me it was related to a temperature change... it was much colder outside the plane then it was inside the plane...Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife... halorob 0 #4 September 14, 2009 yeah, I got a hypeye. I remember looking to see if it was red before exit and it was. As far as that I don't recall the status. Its the first time I used it with the duo. All other times were on internal memory. The next two jumps were a helo and 18 k, I wanted to make sure and record them so I used internal memory. I'll have to make some more jumps with it on the duo to figure it out I guess. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them?

Wind or fuselage struck, pushed, bent, pulled your connector?
halorob 0 #6 September 14, 2009 No, I turned it off after canopy opened with the hype. I'll figure it out eventually. Just curious to see if this is a common issue with camera. Didn't see any previous posts. Thanks for input.

I make a habit of checking my indicator light from exit position on every jump. I have turned the camera on from the step, and even on the hill if I couldn't get the TI to give me a sec.
