Tolgak 0 #1 September 23, 2009 I'm designing the shirt for our school skydiving club and I need a picture of a Twin Otter on exit to complete it. I need a picture of the entire plane, un-obscured by anything, in high resolution. Preferably it would be the otter at DeLand. The club pres is dead-set on having an Otter in there. I have a design with the SkyVan but it's not wanted because "we don't jump it as much as we do the Otter." So, if anyone is willing to let me at a picture, I would very much appreciate it. It needs to be close enough that some details show up but not so close that part of the plane gets cut off in the corners of the picture. I have not had any luck searching on any search engines. Thank you.Dropzones are terrible places for inspiration. What does one think when one looks up for a sign only to see a bunch of people falling? jtval 0 #2 September 23, 2009 Its pretty hard to get photographer to just give up a hi def photo like the one you requested. As soon as we do that we lose all control of it and it's probably a good picture once you give the digital away you cant put it back in the bottle. Anyway, I DID search though my photos. I found one that MAY work for you but it has air force cadets in the photo so I cannot legally give you the photo. If I crop out the jumpers can you still use the photo of the otter? Its a shot from below(duh, I just jumped out of it) I'll keep lookingMy photos My Videos
Tolgak 0 #3 September 23, 2009 I can absolutely do that. I just need a picture of the plane so I can scramble the hell out of it for the effect I want. I don't need an entire action shot, just an entire plane.Dropzones are terrible places for inspiration. What does one think when one looks up for a sign only to see a bunch of people falling? Icon134 0 #6 September 23, 2009 I have several pictures of the exits from the deland otter from a few weeks back on my website: http://www.scottgunstills.com/ I might be willing to part with one of them for the price of the "personal use original price" of $3... since you intending to use it for a club... The only pictures I have of the deland otter are in the work stinks boogie folder under the Skydiving 2009 category. edit: because I'm an idiot and didn't make it a clicky... I can post links to actuall photos of the otter but you'll have to wait until after work since I can't access it at home... I know I have some photos of it however...Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...

pilotdave 0 #8 September 23, 2009 I thought I probably had something, but I realized that I've been to Deland probably 5 times and never jumped an Otter there. I've jumped the skyvan, porter, and even the 182, but never an otter. I sure was surprised when I showed up in January a couple years ago and the 182 taxied up.
