jimmytavino 16 #1 March 23, 2010 why can't i download pics which were shot in RAW on my Nikon D70S ??? printer slot won't recognize them... usb cable won't feed them to my computer.. Had the setting on the camera inadvertantly, instead of jpeg fine... i Know that RAW allows for more flexibility in terms of post production editing... BUT how the heck do i get them onto the comp. to DO the post pro. editing?? anyone???? thanks... jimmy
dragon2 2 #2 March 23, 2010 The printer won't recognize RAW no. But the pc sure can. If you use the usb as a Mass Storage Device and use windows explorer to get to the memory card (as opposed to some software that tries to do that for you) you can copy the RAW files to your pc. Then you need software capable of handling your specific type of RAW files to edit and/or save them as jpegs, for example Photoshop 7/CS1 and up will handle D70S RAW files (if not, update Photoshop). ciel bleu, Saskia
