When I opened up a CX105 to take the strap off cleanly I noticed that there is one of those little plastic 'jumpers' that had PAL written on one side and NT written on the other. At the end the AVCHD format is the same? the difference is just the analog output? I know with the Xacti and some pro Sony cams you can choose record in pal or ntsc... My Xacti FH1 only records 30/60 fps, there's no option for 25/50 fps. Only the analog output is switchable (in the menu) between PAL and NTSC. guscabana 0 #4 April 29, 2010 thats the thing, I only need to switch the output to pal or ntsc depending where I need to download the video for debrief (analog to a dvd recorder).
