birdmanbj 0 #1 April 19, 2010 Hey, over the past little while i did a ton of research into remote shutter release for my Nikon D5000 and couldn't find anything. Today i found 2 products that are said to work. The first is an adapter allowing you to use the standard 2.5mm Canon Bite/Tongue switch. 2nd is a Blow switch. http://pc-mobile.net/nikongps.htm BOTTOM OF PAGE http://ultimate-switch.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=
guscabana 0 #2 April 20, 2010 Hey Nikonista, great find of the angled nikon plug, first ever! thanks! no need to epoxi anymore... The ultimate switch comes with the standard straight connector like all ones selling in ebay, better use the canon version with the 2,5 mm plug and the N90AD angled adapter...you can leave the adapter taped to the camera, the socket is not very good, mine broke in 2 days... Enjoy your d5000, and when you can, get a 16 or 10,5 and you'll be in heaven! Gustavo
