raceface 0 #3 May 6, 2010 this is my box mounted on helmet, designed for CX100/105, but works with full CX range. 2010 models are narrower, but optical axis, camera body lenght, battery shape and position remain the same. inside1 inside2 inside3 outside1 outside2my pictures
tunnelfly 0 #4 May 7, 2010 What's the reason for the bracket? Is your nose in the frame when sidemounted with the Raynox? No.1 reason NOT to be an astronaut: ...You can't drink beer at zero gravity...
raceface 0 #5 May 10, 2010 - it reduces for about a half how much the box sticks to the side - it fits nice with top-mounted camera - it makes easier to access the hypeye connector, depending on helmet it may be difficult (especially with 2010 camcorders) to side-mount a box which doesn't cover hypeye connectormy pictures
PhreeZone 20 #6 May 10, 2010 I have to ask... why not just jump a top mount if you are trying to do this?Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

raceface 0 #8 May 10, 2010 most people i see jumping camera + camcorder prefer top-mounted camera and side-mounted camcorder. when not shooting something payed, they remove camera from top-mount and use it for ff or anything. side-mounted camcorders are easier manageable in smaller aircrafts, top-mounted reduce risk of riser slap, so this is some compromise...my pictures
