That explains why our editor was asking me earlier today if she should accept the Vegas update.. she was getting nagging update notices all day. I didn't want to run an update during a busy jump day cause you never know what idiosyncracies might happen after a new rev
bomb420 1 #3 May 15, 2010 Hopefully this fixes the issues with editing contour camera footage "Fixed field order in reader for certain H.264 files." And this one blew to find when it happend to us: "Corrected a problem that could cause black frames in MOV files after installing the QuickTime 7.6.6 update."HYPOXIC
DSE 5 #4 May 15, 2010 Man...Quicktime screws up so many things. I keep an old version of QT Pro on hand just because it always works. Seems like for every iTunes update, something on the video side breaks. I don't have a Contour to test with, but I do have some footage. I'll toss it on and see what it does. Sony uses the Main Concept decoder for their AVCHD and AVC decodes (same as Adobe and Avid) and it had some serious hiccups for a while. That's why you're seeing 9e hot on the tails of 9d.
