hackish 8 #1 July 14, 2010 I decided to buy Sony Vegas Movie Studio. So I paid for it and installed it. Keeps giving me errors about can't load twain_32.dll. I googled that and came up with tons of people complaining but no solution that works. People suggested that WIA needs to be running which it is... DSE 5 #2 July 14, 2010 looking for a scanner component that has an older driver? You can download the Twain32 dll from numerous websites. In "SERVICES.MSC", locate Windows Image Acquisition. Double click it. On Start Up Type, you'll probably see it's Disabled. Set this option to Manual. Click "OK" Click the green button in the services toolbar. It'll change color. Done.
