mx19 0 #1 October 17, 2010 Just wondering what everyone uses to proctect their stills cameras? The only thing I've really seen is the deepseed camera sock, I'm just looking for something to protect my camera and possibly outside if lens from the elements? dragon2 2 #3 October 17, 2010 Nothing at the moment, as my nikon D300 is fairly bomb-proof. On more plasticky models I used Camera Armor. ciel bleu, Saskia
PharmerPhil 0 #4 October 17, 2010 QuoteJust wondering what everyone uses to proctect (sic) their stills cameras? Common sense. If you use that, you don't need any sort of protection (ditto for video cameras). The only thing you have to be careful of is protecting the remote shutter release plug from being sheared off. BMFin 0 #5 October 17, 2010 Who needs protection? I dropped my helmet from 500 meters and my 400D 8mm lens and everything else survived without any damage. Some photos of the camera after it landed, here
