DSE 5 #2 December 19, 2010 you'll be able to burn to some systems, some will convert to 60i and others won't. If you're thinking of using these for a tandem operation, I'd suggest reconsidering due to the potential for some incompatibility. Computer systems will convert it on the fly, but settop burner compatibility will vary.
Pedro1Carba 0 #3 December 19, 2010 Yes Yes, I think mostly in the video editing work tandem with a DVD recorder. Thanks I think I finally buy some Sony CX series but miss some effects, quality will win in the final edit. Congratulations on your Blog
DSE 5 #4 December 19, 2010 The reason none of the new cams don't have built in effects are two-fold; ~they take up cycles best used for better compression ~the majority of card-based users will be editing/outputting on a computer for digital delivery. FX/effects can be more effectively applied in post (editing), and in computer editing, it's much faster (generally) than board-based/linear editing. Glad you like the blog. Pedro1Carba 0 #5 December 19, 2010 Well. but in reality in my dropzone we always use the DVD recorder only takes 6-7 min for a DVD of the recording time and 2 more to burn. what I said will eventually have to buy a Cx in USA Thanks
