4dbill 0 #1 January 11, 2011 The video spec of Panasonic DMC-GH2 looks great! Wow.. I might have to upgrade soon. Most of the reviews claim that the 1080p quality is much sharper than Canon 5D/7D/t2i. The burning question, however, is this. They claim that a full resolution picture can be taken at the same time, while video'ing, but can it do that without interrupting recording of the video? 4DBill http://www.dslrforvideo.com
4dbill 0 #2 March 28, 2011 I've been using Canon T2i for HD video for awhile. It's a great camera to make the footage look filmy, but relatively weak in capturing images in full glorious HD resolution. Panasonic Lumix GH2 was supposed to do a better job, and have all the benefits of DSLR HD Video. I finally got to jump it yesterday, and yes, it does just about everything better than Canon, when it comes to freefall videography. Even when zoomed in to stabilized the video during post, it's still sharper than Canon T2i. Here's a sample of what I shot yesterday. http://vimeo.com/21578995 It's probably not very practical for high volume usage, such as shooting tandem videos, but it's a great little 'camcorder' for special shoots. 4DBill http://dslrforvideo.com
