collinschaefer 1 #1 January 14, 2011 Is there a video program that anyone uses to edit their GoPro videos? I've tried a few different programs, but the encoding standard (H264) seems to be giving me issues. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Swanee 0 #2 January 14, 2011 Try Pinnacle HD studio. Works seamlessly for me and seems to handle the GoPro HD files very well.
BobWright 0 #3 January 15, 2011 I've been using Cyberlink Power Director. No problems handling H.264. It also supports GPU acceleration if you have the right video card, which speeds things up quite a bit.

There are a bunch of tutorials on youtube so it is really easy to start editing.Engineering Law #5: The most vital dimension on any plan drawing stands the most chance of being omitted
mccordia 74 #5 January 15, 2011 Use a free program like MPG streamclip to change the container of the files from .mov to .mp4 or vice versa (without recompression). Usually makes em work in any app after that..JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
rhys 0 #6 January 16, 2011 I have been using realxstream. It is very automated but you have to make sure you only record the footage you want. It is great. It only takes about 2 minutes the cue everything up and it will create the disk while you do other things like packing or jumpin on the next load. www.realxstream.com"When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will see peace." - 'Jimi' Hendrix

mircan 0 #10 January 19, 2011 Yup. I use Premiere and it works nice. This process takes same amount of time as re-saving the file and then you edit it like usual. Just Google "Mpeg streamclip". dudeist skydiver #
