Laszloimage 0 #2 March 9, 2011 I made about 1,200 jums with mine, but honestly I never used the burst mode. Certain light conditions I use exposure compensation one step (0.3) up or down and I normally use the flash. End of the day I shoot at ISO 200 this way the camera maintains descent shutter speed. tunnelfly 0 #4 March 9, 2011 I always use it in sport mode (except on sunset loads). Usually turn the flash off, since I don't think that little thing helps much... Still looking for better settings on ground shots (like on a track-jump) on hazy days.. No.1 reason NOT to be an astronaut: ...You can't drink beer at zero gravity... tunnelfly 0 #9 March 15, 2011 I bought spare batteries on ebay (from china/HK) for around 5$/pc., cable is also available on ebay if you really need one. I haven't found a way to set my preferences as default. What I do on altitude is: - Turn camera on - Press Mode button (goes to last used setting, sport mode) - (sometimes) switch flash off No.1 reason NOT to be an astronaut: ...You can't drink beer at zero gravity... bliston 0 #10 March 16, 2011 There is a "save settings" option in the menu, but if you change out the battery, you loose them. I forget where the option is in the menu, but it's definitely there. You can set the white balance, ISO, MPs, burst, etc. and it will default to those when you turn it on. BenMass Defiance 4-wayFS website sticks!
