Psychonaut 0 #1 July 11, 2011 Does anyone have any nifty, clever, more inexpensive ringsight setups on their mxv? I'm not shelling out for a nice concentric right now and I won't have this helmet for too awful long anyway. I have a full shop at my disposable, so I'm definitely game for fabricating something simple myself if anyone has some designs..Stay high pull low

I had to get an articulated ring site for my MXV, as the front is too high and angled for just a post mount. I ended up shelling out a bit of money, and got everything at once, no use paying for shit twice!"I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message
Psychonaut 0 #4 July 12, 2011 Perfect, thanks. @ski, I won't be using any of these swivel or articulating mounts on my future helmet, so it's not worth it.. I have nice clean way of mounting on the flat front of the ftp but it won't work nicely with the shape of the mxv. The only thing I'd be using is the actual sight, so for now I'm not gonna shell out for a nice concentric or whatnot.Stay high pull low
davelepka 4 #5 July 12, 2011 Quote I have nice clean way of mounting on the flat front of the ftp Does it include nylon screws or some other type of release mechanism? The last ringsite I used was mounted to the flat front of a Hanson Helmet (similar to FTP), and I used gaffers tape to hold it in place. Worked great, would have let go easily in the case of a snag. This was before the days of commercially available mounts.
