keith82687 0 #1 July 28, 2011 I was looking around and was surprised I didn't find video of someone diving with a high-speed camera and catching ultra-slow-motion canopy opening. Does anyone know where to find one?
ltdiver 3 #2 July 30, 2011 Because most cameraflyers protect their neck by *not* looking up to watch their canopy openings. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Waldschrat 0 #5 August 2, 2011 Lol, do you really believe that? Sry, but i can't see the vid from the chute opening
sdls 0 #6 August 2, 2011 Actually I'm starting to believe in it. I also tried to search for that kind of videos with no success. I think I have somewhere on my own archives one video shot with Gopro 60fps if that's enough?
Zlew 0 #7 August 2, 2011 And not many have "high speed" cameras. I'm not sure 60FPS is really considered high speed for super slow mo. I have plenty of video of my canopy opening, but nothing in super slow mo or anything special.
theonlyski 8 #8 August 2, 2011 Go get a decent HD camera and a safire2 with a huge slider... Make sure you pull around 4 grand. Does anyone know where to find one? I do not know if this is exactly what you are looking for, but I usually look up when I open, catching most of the opening. I slowed it down to 15%, just for you. http://youtu.be/hL17_IVtdtE Bill http:www.4dbill.com

keith82687 0 #13 August 7, 2011 Thanks for that video! It's kinda scary to see how that thing snivels...it looks like it's just doing the same thing over and over and all of a sudden it opens =P I know it's not the case though. It'd be damn hard to get a good video of full extraction from PC deployment till under canopy.
