Wide-angle lens on Contour HD handcam

I have a ContourHD1080 on an x-shut wrist mount. I also have a lens adapter from XVUSA.com so I can thread a 43mm lens on it.

Has anyone used a wider angle lens on the Contour? What have you found that works well for handcam?
