Revolve X Drift HD

Hello.
Anybody used the mounting plate of Revolve helmet with the Drift HD camera (the smallest one)?
My main doubt is if a part of the helmet (the front part) appears in the filmed images.

Have you compared the Drift to the Contour? I just ordered a Revolve and got the Contour plate since it just seemed simpler as a package. Then I noticed people using the Drift on this helmet and started wondering what opinions were on the cams themselves.

i only did comparisons online. just about all pov's are the same, just have different features. although, after a jump, all the guys at the DZ like the color quality out of my drift compared to the others. the drift is mounted closer to my head than the contour, i will try and post a pic.

I ordered the helmet about a week ago and got the contour mount with it. It should be another 3 weeks to ship so if I need to change mounts it might still be possible. What mount are you using and how does it connect to the Drift?

just mount the plate, slap the flat one on there and your good to go. one mount is slightly curved the other is flat.

What Drift model do you use? The HD170 or the HD(the newest and smallest)?
My main doubt is if the HD (smallest) model would be ok, with no parts of the revolve helmet appearing in the videos or photos.

i just ordered the contour mount from bonehead. attached it. took the mount that i got from ebay. attached it. then snapped on my drift.
im using the Drift Stealth. as far as mounting goes. the drift HD, HD 170, 170 stealth and mini, all mount the same.

Do you use it in what resolution? When you use in 720p, with angle of 170º, the side of the helmet does not appear in the film?

Thank you. They just shipped my helmet out so it's ahead of schedule. It looks like I'll have several more months before I can use either so I have time to decide which cam to go with.
