mchamp 1 #2 October 9, 2011 What are the pro's and con's of this newly released helmet? Personally the top plate looks a bit smaller with not enough room to expand other items or larger camera's. any comments? For info regarding lift ticket prices all around the world check out http://www.jumpticketprices.com/dropzones.asp
TheRanchPROshop 0 #3 October 9, 2011 Pro's are; lightweight, comfortable, best ergonomic fit, easy accessible cutaway system, option of external audibles, built in Hype eye ports, easy access to inside of helmet, standard colors available at no extra charge. Con's; 6-8 week production lead time I am having a flash bracket made and will post pics when I have that done. It is going to be laying flat over the video camera. As far as the width of the plate, it is as big as most other style helmets out there. The only bigger cameras that I see people using are the Canon 5D's and CX100's and those would fit no problem. Most of the time people need room side to side not back to front. This is for more of the everyday jumping like tandem video. Just a still and video camera, simple. It is a very small percentage of people that need to use more than that simple set up. FLY FAST!!!Kamuran "Sonic" Bayrasli The Ranch PROshop Buy Baby Buy! omerc 0 #4 October 25, 2011 do you secure the CX150 display in any way? I see you didn't use any flatlocks, how hard is it to remove the SD from the CX150 ?
Morav 0 #5 November 1, 2011 Hi Did you purchase the add on's (Hypeye and sight) through Tonfly? I have taken a look at there website, and it seems pricey.
DrizZ 0 #6 November 2, 2011 Hey Sonic, Met you briefly at bridge day. Who's making your flash bracket? I have a concept, but no access to tools or materials on this coast. Dave

rwsmyhi 0 #8 November 23, 2011 She's a bute! Ever do a video with that setup from a Cessna? Looks like there may be a bit of a clearance issue for any type of poised exit and would definitely need to get creative on the step!
