davelepka 4 #3 October 13, 2011 I'd suggest the Sony CX105. I picked up a CX100 (I'm in the states) off ebay for $240, including a memory stick and an extra battery. Been shooting tandems with it all summer, and not a glitch or problem of any kind. I haven't priced the GoPro, Contour, etc lately, but I think a used CX can be had for less than the price of those, and if (when) they get dropped, lost, broken, etc, it sucks that much less. mstlaurent 0 #4 October 13, 2011 I like my CX150 because it supports SD memory cards (and also Sony cards). It works well for filming tandems. No problems with OIS. I would have to check if it's enabled or not. As all Sony HD camcorders the performance in low light is average but it's never been a problem.

I picked up a CX-100 for $150.00 like new in the box on E-bay six months ago. I have it in my bag as a spare.Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky." steves 0 #6 October 26, 2011 My old PC101E has finally packed up and I'm looking at HD replacement (filming 4 way mostly). Most advice is for the CX100 which I cannot find anywhere second hand (need PAL). I was also advised that CX150 is a good option but same story with no availability. I have been warned away from the CX130. I can find new CX110 at a reasonable price and wondered if anyone had anything good/bad to say about this model. I'd be using it mainly for 4 way filming

The CX110 is the same as the CX150, except it doesn't have internal memory--just the memory card. It will work fine for your needs.
