I do feel they are unsharp and are muddled but that doesn't mean it will take unsellable photos. Think about the various angles and framing that you still can do with the GoPro. Sure you can't exactly pick your shot, but at 2 fps you most likely will grab that smile/angle that you setup. Basically what I'm saying is good photographers will produce good pictures bad flyers will produce bad pictures mostly independent of the tool used. I'm just showing the tool, it's your personal opinion as if its acceptable for your needs or not. USHPA (Hang Gliding and Paragliding) magazine regularly publishes GoPro Shots. TV commercials, music videos, and TV shows constantly have GoPro footage. Just food for thought. -Trunk Maybe its due to the motion but video footage and stills footage look different in quality. Or maybe its just me

Framing, composition et al still remain relevant. Image quality issues related to glass quality/sensor size still remain though. Thanks for all the camera work you do man. Aeroquest 0 #28 December 16, 2011 OK, I see a lot of pro's and con's about go pro. I shoot tandems only and still use Sony for footage and SLR for stills. Yes i give my customers 150 stills that capture even the slightest change in expressions. That makes the difference in a magazine shot or not! So here's the latest. NIKON has a new mini SLR. (Nikon 1j1). I demo'd one in store and was amazed at 5 frames per second. weights in at 8.3 oz. small like normal compacts with SLR features like changable lenses. comes standard with 10m-30m lense 10=28mm 30=55mm or so. I have one ordered and it's wired remote controllable. It's seems to be new SLR for Skydiving. Check it out! http://imaging.nikon.com/lineup/acil/index.htmGotta be a Pioneer to excel in the future, otherwise follow the crowd
