Pulse 0 #1 March 3, 2012 I've shot video for years. This year I've decided to stop looking for the 'perfect' solid state camera. I'm looking at buying a cx100. My understanding is that there are optically and digitally stabilized cx100's. I also understand there were problems with the optically stabilized models. How do I know what I'm getting? Any help would be appreciated."Any language where the unassuming word fly signifies an annoying insect, a means of travel, and a critical part of a gentleman's apparel is clearly asking to be mangled." bdazel 0 #2 March 3, 2012 I'm pretty sure all cx100s are electrically stabilized.

guscabana 0 #5 March 6, 2012 get a CX110 before they are all gone, much better than the CX100. You'll need an SD card. The CX150 is the same but with internal memory, and more expensive. Best lens for it is the Century 0.55: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/229934-REG/Century_Precision_Optics_0DS_55WA_37_DS_55WA_37_0_55x_Wide_Angle.html Good luck. Pulse 0 #6 March 23, 2012 QuoteBest lens for it is the Century 0.55: Why is this the 'best' lens? .55 is a bit wider than I really like shooting. But there's always the zoom."Any language where the unassuming word fly signifies an annoying insect, a means of travel, and a critical part of a gentleman's apparel is clearly asking to be mangled." Waldschrat 0 #7 April 2, 2012 The biggest pro for cx100: you can really switch off the E(Electr.)IS in air. But i dont know if there is a non HD wide angle lens you can zoom through.
