switching from PMB to MM?

I have been using PMB for organizing my video files and now i want to start using Vegas media manager. I have 1000s of files and about 50 tags that i want to switch over to Vegas media manager. I have not been able to figure out a way to group a list of files in pmb "labels" and transfer them to Vegas media manager "Tags" Are there a ways to tag video files that both MM and PMB that can be seen by programs?
