Im just looking for some input to see if this camera is a good option. Thanks

dragon2 2 #6 November 6, 2012 Did you read the sticky FAQ in this forum? Do that first, then go look up what kind of image stabilisation both cameras have. ciel bleu, Saskia
cavscout73 0 #7 November 6, 2012 by the specs both use Electronic (Steady Shot with Active Mode) image stabilization. Now with that being said, can someone look into the differences and give some feedback on the 210. From everything i can see it looks like just a newer version of the 110. But as i said before i dont know crap about the electronics behind it all. dragon2 2 #8 November 6, 2012 LOL I could've sworn I read Optical stabilisation for the CX210. Since it's sony CX series camera, with EIS, it should be fine for skydiving. 2 other things to look out for are the ability to screw on a wide angle lens, and the location of the cardreader on the camera body, in relation to how you're going to mount the camera. ciel bleu, Saskia
gearless_chris 1 #9 November 6, 2012 You should also check with Trunk to see if the Hypeye will work with it. The CX160 requires a special version of Hypeye."If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. My momma said I could be anything I wanted when I grew up, so I became an a$$hole. cavscout73 0 #10 November 7, 2012 After some more research from hypoxic CX130, CX160, CX190, CX200, CX210, ... If the camera was made in 2011 or 2012 you will need this version of the HYPEYE! unable to use wide angle lens without some modification. http://www.gethypoxic.com/reviews-tests-hacks/hacks-and-mods/90-cx200.html
