velocityphoto 0 #27 March 12, 2013 My hero 3 black has locked up numerous times on me in the plane on the ground etc. etc. etc. I have done the firmware updates and nothing has changed. I have the battery extension on it as well. I'm sick of it already, my old hero 2 was good! A friend will bail you out of jail , a REAL friend will be sitting next to you in the cell slapping your hand saying "DUDE THAT WAS AWSUM " ................ Before that update 3 weeks ago, both Silvers were having issues, requiring battery removals often. My Black is still unreliable enough that I don't take it on paid jumps. The replacement has been just fine with no issues. My black locked up once in its first week but has been fine ever since. Certainly there's a software issue that remains unresolved....
