mixedup 0 #1 December 18, 2012 There are various resolutions/settings on the Hero3. Wondering what Format/Resolution people are using to fly camera on say 4-ways for example? For example: 1. Resolution - (each of these has "Ultra Wide" Field of View): * 1440p - 1920x1440, 4:3 - but then you'd have to crop to 16:9 if that's the output you want * 1080p - 1920x1080, 16:9 - seems a good choice * 960p - 1280x960, 4:3 2. Field of View * Ultra-Wide - assume this would be the one used * Medium * Narrow Note: I'm not jumping cameras yet, however in Oz we can with C-license (100 jumps).Parachutist Game IOS Android YouT
trunk 0 #2 December 24, 2012 I personally just been using 1080P 60fps for everything. If you will be debriefing with a slower computer/ media player 1080 30fps is decent. 2.7K is nice but can't review directly from the camera. You can change the FOV to medium or narrow so you don't have to me on top of the group so much. Basically, depending on your skill level, debriefing method, and sighting methods will dictate what mode you should be using. Try them all out and see what works best for yourself.Trunk's Blog HYPOXIC's Instagram Like HYPOXIC
