FataMorgana 0 #1 February 25, 2013 Hello, I haven't come across any reviews regarding potential applicability of the isaw camera for skydiving. So, I am wondering whether there is some inherent or obvious reason (bit rate, resolution, memory of software issues) why this camera has not received “skydiving” attention comparable other pov cameras. The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge. DSE 5 #2 February 25, 2013 It's a chinese gopro copy, built on the same chipset as the GoPro. The manufacturers are very difficult to deal with (from my perspective), and customer service would be an issue. At this point, it's just another pov camera. At this point, most of them are 'just another pov' camera. The mount is even less snag-friendly than a GP... And of course, the requisite commentary about 200 jumps seems to apply here. FataMorgana 0 #3 February 25, 2013 Thank you for a very informative response. Btw I never mentioned or implied that I would consider or attempt jumping with any camera prior to meeting 200 jumps/C-license USPA recommendation...
