tobyiscool1982 0 #1 March 2, 2013 Ghost HD mount is kinda flimsy with just the clip on the adhesive mount. Anyone have any ideas on how to have a more secure option? We can't all be smart....
trunk 0 #2 March 6, 2013 Don't use the clip, just a 1/4-20 bolted to your helmet.Trunk's Blog HYPOXIC's Instagram Like HYPOXIC
projectalarum 0 #3 March 16, 2013 I use a Cookie Liquid flat lock and just a standard tripod screw for my Drift cameras. Also, when I'm shooting tandem video/stills, i've mounted my Ghost on top of my Canon T1i using a hot-shoe mount, it ends up being a little tall but it works perfectly. I also bought a couple brackets used for mounting extra flashes to a high end DSLR and mounted it and two Drift's to the same Liquid Flatlock... Basically, you just need a standard tripod screw, 1/4 inch.
trunk 0 #4 March 20, 2013 For what its worth, the schumacher quickshoes end up giving a bit more real estate and easier to mount on helmet sides. That is if you want a quick release mechanism.Trunk's Blog HYPOXIC's Instagram Like HYPOXIC
