pullwhat 0 #1 January 5, 2014 I'm currently setting up a new helmet for all types of camera flying but the initial 2 cameras purchased will be for outside tandem video. Im looking for a suitable replacement of my CX100 / XSI setup. I was looking at the CX430 for video however from what I have read you can't get a good super wide lens for it because of the BOSS system and I generally fly extremely close to my tandem subjects making docks, flying on back while docked and things such as that. I was also considering the NEX-6 for a still camera but i am not thrilled about the hard mod needed for a remote switch. My question is, what are some suitable alternatives if any for the NEX and a good replacement for the CX100.

markbdaniels 0 #4 January 8, 2014 ********** @pullwhat ********* I just found out the hard way that the Sony NEX 5TL does not work with the "Sony Multi Terminal to 2.5mm Adapter". I just got my "Sony Multi Terminal to 2.5mm Adapter" in the post . I didnt work This is the reply I got from Chuting star: Quote It's not you...it's the camera and adapter. Trunk had originally thought these 2 worked together and had advertised as such. We found out about a month ago that was not the case. It only works with the NEX-3NL cameras...and he thinks it'll work the 7 series too (but I haven't personally has a 7 here yet to try)...but for some reason the input is different on the 5. We all had to change all of our notes on this online after Nathan in our DeLand shop tried to make it work for a customer...and then Trunk got involved...and well now we know...ugh.
