Skytrooper 0 #1 March 26, 2014 http://www.dpreview.com/news/2014/03/25/gopro-rival-panasonic-launches-wearable-hx-a500-4k-action-camera?utm_campaign=internal-link&utm_source=news-list&utm_medium=text&ref=title_0_4 I like the concept of separating the camera from the body. And I like the specs: 4K here we come!!! Great for editing. QuoteAvailable with full HD in standard resolution, exclusive Level Shot and Image Stabilizer functions allow you to capture easily watchable fast action sequences. They probably use the 4K video source to crop & rotate (stabilize) the footage in camera. If it works good, its pretty sweet! DSE 5 #2 March 26, 2014 It's been out for a bit; I had one for a few hours during CES this year. Not as impressive as it is on paper. The stabilizer is impressive though, and if shooting 4K for HD, it's pretty decent once stabilized. I'm more excited about what they've got next.
