omerzitelia 0 #1 July 16, 2014 Hi guys! I am now looking for mounting options for GoPro on this AirGun helmet. I'd like to use with the EOS camera on top. I used the helmet with Contour and Sony on the side but I'd like to move to to GoPro now. Any ideas for mounting? thanks!
ridebmxbikes 0 #2 July 16, 2014 well you could put it on top next to the eos camera since you have all that room up there or you could stick it on the front with a front mount kit and just flip the picture upside down
omerzitelia 0 #3 July 16, 2014 I know that this is the obvious choice. A buddy of mine jumps like that. I was thinking of any angled mount and put it on the side of the EOS but couldn't find any appropriate kit.
TheCaptain 2 #4 July 16, 2014 Wow, like snag points much. I would suggest to the the original post, to use an L bracket mounted on the front of the surface of the forehead area and mount it to that.Kirk He's dead Jim

stayhigh 2 #6 July 20, 2014 Why DSLR when you can just do dual go-pro and save your neck? Gopro takes good enough still for tandem customers.Bernie Sanders for President 2016
omerzitelia 0 #7 July 20, 2014 The dual gopro is a solution but the guys at the DZ still think that the DSLR does better job in clouds when there is more need for compensation of light conditions. I hope I can convince them to go this way and save my neck and pocket at the same time. Side by side on the or L bracket on in front one on top? stayhigh 2 #8 July 20, 2014 side by side. doesn't your dslr fog up after going thru the clouds?? I used to jump thru the rain, all of us videodudes complained, non of the ti complained. After going dual gopro, all the video dude were down to jump thru rain.Bernie Sanders for President 2016
stayhigh 2 #9 July 20, 2014 with gopro 3, I had to either drill a tiny hole, or use the open back, or remove the rubber seal in order for them to not to get foggy.Bernie Sanders for President 2016

You can buy ani-fog inserts for the housing which are basically little pieces of blotting paper. Stick one in each side before closing the housing and you'll have no problems. http://gopro.com/camera-accessories/hero3-anti-fog-insertsRemember you don't stop laughing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop laughing.
