gunneroy 0 #1 September 21, 2014 Hey guys, Im looking at getting a mirorless camera for my set up. Which of the current stock of camera do you know for sure can take a bite/bow/tongue switch. If you have any experience with a particular make and model and willing to share the info that would be great. Trying to figure out whats out there and make up a budget (really depends on if i can use the stock lens or need to buy a second lens. ) cheers for any info shared! gilead1 0 #7 September 22, 2014 Sony A6000 with this switch - EXIT EQUIPMENT . the best switch ever!!! Excellent quality, 90 degrees connector, Very comfortable - love it. I'm not sure the A5100 will be good for skydiving because the switch connector and the SD slot is under the same door so the door must remain open. darklow 0 #8 September 22, 2014 verdii have the 16mm/f2.8 lens and a homemade biteswitch Would you mind sharing some photos from freefall with this lens and A6000 camera? Maybe some close tandem and some group of skydivers? I am also thinking of moving from my Sony A55 (DT 11-18mm F4.5~5.6) to A6000, to have something bit lighter on my head. But i was thinking more of E 10-18mm F4 lens. It would be interesting to compare and see how wide are these 16mm lens which are lot cheaper than 10-18mm. jumpsalot-2 3 #12 September 22, 2014 If the switch works on a Sony Alpha NEX 3N, shouldn't it work on a NEX 5N ? My 5N already has a "Hacked" switch attached, but it would be nice to know this is available. Which port does it attach to ?Life is short ... jump often. Laszloimage 0 #14 September 25, 2014 I just wrote a quick review/blog on my photography FB page yesterday about the Samsung NX Mini which I use for a month now. The link for the post: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=341258856052882&id=155523361293100 And everything loads from the side, so the camera doesn't have to be taken off from the helmet to change battery or SD card!!!
