Hovergirl 0 #1 December 2, 2014 Hi, I have recently noticed that when it is cooler I seem to be getting a bit of fogging around the corners of my footage. I have even tried the anti-fog strips but they don't seem to help. Any ideas or methods to try and alleviate the issue? Kandace
Pobrause 6 #2 December 2, 2014 have experienced the same issue on my Gopro have seen it on other peoples gopros haven`t seen it on other peoples gopros or action cams where they drilled a hole in the case for easy access to the dataports new case is like 40$, maybe worth the try?------------------------------------------------------- To absent friends

All GoPros have a open backdoor in the box when you buy it. It will be about $40 cheaper to test with that door than drilling a hole in the case ;-) But in theory, the reason you get fog is because the case is colder than the air. Just like in the shower the 'fog' or watervapor collects on cold water line.
jono 0 #4 December 3, 2014 It comes from closing the case in warm temps then exposing the case to cold temps at height. You can..... Fit the vented door or buy and put these http://shop.gopro.com/APAC/accessories/anti-fog-inserts/AHDAF-301.html#/start=1 in the case or make your own like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWlLceQ1TPgRemember you don't stop laughing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop laughing.
