karma 3 #1 July 6, 2015 I recently bought a Cookie Fuel helmet and am considering turning it into my main camera helmet. I'm looking into options for topmounting cameras. I would like to topmount my cameras on the helmet. I'm well aware of the new flatlock adaptor that Cookie has brought out for the Fuel, but I don't think that is give me enough space to mount my cameras. I would like to topmount either a GoPro and a CX or a GoPro and a Sony NEX camera. I've seen the topmount plate for the G2/G3 (https://www.chutingstar.com/skydive/g2-g3-dual-camera-mounting-platform) and am wondering if that would fit on top of the Fuel. Anybody know? Any other advise is welcome.

Comp35 0 #4 August 18, 2015 How do you have that GoPro mounted on there?? And is that just the Liquid Flatlock Helmet Adaptor for your still camera? Looks like exactly what I had in mind!
blkhwkmech89 0 #5 September 9, 2015 I'm running a similar set up. I think it was the curved flatlock adapter for the gas helmet to put the flat lock on and just a random combination of go pro snag hazards to keep the gopro out of the still camera's frame.BASE 1962

mayhew24 0 #10 October 8, 2015 What is the best way to mount a CX410 onto a flatlock adaptor? Loving the duel mount solution by the way. It would be interesting to hear if the helmet will come pre drilled for the hype-eye?
adumbelk 0 #11 March 26, 2016 What's going on with your GoPro mount? I really like the look of it from the angle in your picture. Is there a connection on the rear door of the case or is the rubber band holding it together?
karma 3 #12 March 27, 2016 I decided not to wait for the option cookie had brewing last year, but instead asked somebody to help my out by building a custom mount as a platform for the camera's. I can now mount both my camera's side by side for photo/video jumps. If need be I can remove them and mount a GoPro in a rollermount for AFF-jumps. I think it turned out great! DougH 270 #13 March 28, 2016 I think it looks pretty slick! How tight is it against the helmet around the edges at bottom of the mount? Any chance of HMA or micro-line that is under force jamming under there between the mount and the helmet?"The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
Cesium1 0 #14 May 8, 2016 Hey Guys! Has anyone tried installing an x-shut mount on top? And maybe also a go pro in the front? I'm considering mounting my Nex 3 camera on top and an upside down mounted GoPro in front with a J-hook mount. Any thoughts?
skyextreme84 0 #15 September 11, 2016 Hi there. Where did you bought GoPro backdoor mount?
xc8in4x 0 #16 September 12, 2016 I modified my GoPro Mount a little by now. It is a regular GoPro quick release attached to a backdoor mount which comes with the "GoPro sportsmen mount". In addition to that I chopped of the 2 "feet" of the GoPro case which allows me to take the camera out of the case while mounted on the helmet without changing the angle of the camera.
