rapper4mpi 0 #1 February 28, 2002 So let me tell you all about my experience with Mike Michigan and Michigan Suits. I ordered my first freefly suit from him about 450 jumps ago. Back in 1999 when they were still making them really baggy. So to start this season off, I thought I would order a new suit. Not that my old one was worn out, it still looks great, but I wanted a new suit, you all know how it is. Anyway, I look around at other companies, and they all seemed great, so I stuck with what I knew. I place my order and 3 weeks later it arrives at my front door! So excited, I strip down and try it on. Fits great, looks great...but wait, the stripes I ordered, big stripe red, small stripes white, are reversed...hmmm that is not right. Now before I go any further, I did initially order my colors this way. but as soon as I realized it (literally 5 minutes later) I called Mike and told him to make the switch. He said no problem. Well that note must have been lost. So I called Mike told him about the problem. He said, not to worry and send the suit back and he would fix it. I called him three days later to see if he got the suit, he said that he just did, and my new suit should arrive in a few days! Wow! How's that for service? He built me a new suit before the first even got to him. Anyway, I now have the new suit and it looks great, fits great, and is exactly what I wanted. So if anyone out there is looking for a good quality suit, that lasts at a competitive price, check out www.michigansuits.com-Rap
GrumpySmurf 0 #2 February 28, 2002 Ditto on that thought - I put an order through the website for r.blue/ash silver freefly pants back in the fall (even had g/f double check it before submitting). Somehow they showed up blue and green. Contacted Mike about it - even got him to fax me the order form from the webpage, and lone behold, it said blue and green. So for all intensive purposes (from the vendors point of view), it was my fault - but Mike was totally kewl about it and told me I could even jump the old pants if I wanted till the new ones showed up. Not a cent extra charged.Sent them back right away - knowing my luck, I would have face planted in a mud puddle followed by a slide across the runway, if I did wear them.In short, definitely 2 thumbs on Michigan Suit customer service. freeflir29 0 #3 February 28, 2002 I just ordered my suit about 2 weeks ago. Hopefully it will be here soon! Hopefully it will be very baggy(As I ordered it) and actually give me a speed range HD other than fast and faster!!! Canuck 0 #4 February 28, 2002 I'll throw in my cuddo's too. I burned in on my Michigan suit last year (pretty nasty, but that's a different story) and took out both knees and the ass. Called Michigan - they asked me to wash the blood out and send it to them. Came back within a couple weeks all patched up and looking great. They did charge me a whopping $20 though. I'm suprised it could even be salvaged.Canuck
