SkydiveMonkey 0 #1 March 25, 2002 What's the best way to exit a rodeo from a C182? I'm not crazy - I'm a Skydiver
AggieDave 6 #2 March 25, 2002 I've never done it from a 182, but this is how I would do it, if I was going to.Similar to doing a train exit. Both on the step, facing the tail at an angle facing away from the plane. Person in front has left hand on strut and has the count. 2nd person is behind him with his left hand on the strut and his right hand holding on to the shoulder straps (risers and all) of the guy in front. On exit the first person should sort of hop off and away from the step, the second will sort of dive, bringing the legs/feet up quickly to get around the other jumper. You'll probably tumble for a bit but it should get "stable" eventually.Good Luck. "ahhhhoo...the little guy hasn't done anything yet and you know its going to be good..."
