FreeflyGoat 0 #1 April 8, 2002 Between visting the pawn shop to pay my rent and not being able to drive to meet my ride to go down there I regretably could not make it to the FreeflyFest. To everybody who was expecting me I offer my sincere appologies. I'm very bummed that things did not work out in my favor. I will see you guys at Dallas, or the Freefly comp in San Marcos.Goat aka Dereck aka SuperFreakAD A#
ramon 0 #2 April 8, 2002 I'ts ok dude. Weather kept us from making all the jumps we wanted....however high quality organized loads and debriefs (all invited) were done by Max Cohn and minimally all the freeliers that attended gained in their knowledge.ramon
AggieDave 6 #3 April 8, 2002 The weather did hurt us a bit this weekend, but it was still a good learning weekend. I know personally I learned a good deal this weekend, although I was one of the more inexperienced FFers there.I'm sure we'll catch up sooner or later, hopefully by then I'll have a lot more experience and can get on some really sweet jumps. Zennie 0 #4 April 8, 2002 Just to echo what Ramon said...Even though the weather was less-than-ideal, I got some great coach jumps in and learned a heckuva lot from the debriefs.Max Cohn was a really great guy... very down to earth with a lot of great observations and advice. Thanks Max for all your help and thanks Spaceland for putting on a great event.Hopefully Max will be back next year and the weather will cooperate more.
