Going 360 around a point always keeping visual with that point - imagine a circle with a dot in the middle - the dot is your visual point and the circle is your flight path.......... or its what people who cant stop orbiting explain what they are doing!!!

Or if you got this forum mixed up with the cooking forum - it is thinly slicing a nice succulant leg of lamb.............. but thats another story!!

This is usally done in close proximity by the two flyers.

If you do it intentionally, it's a carve.

If you do it unintentionally, it's an orbit.

You know, carving is a fun way to end the dive, do a few revolutions, then speed away from each other (for 2 ways).
