nacmacfeegle 0 #2 June 19, 2003 If you are going to be using it as a 'flight (fright?)recorder' for close up stuff, I'd say a 0.3, the Diamond lenses are nice, but you may have to get a thread adaptor, which is no biggie. The thread size should be stencilled on teh lens housing of your camera, or haul it down to your local camera store. Anything bigger, say .42, .48, .5 etc is too narrow for close up stuff.-------------------- He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me. Levin 0 #5 June 19, 2003 The .3 is an excellent choice. It's getd everything in frame but you need to be close to get a good picture. If you go with this lens and are using a side mount be sure to mount the camera a little further forward. Other wise the bottom left coner of your video will show your goggles and maybe part of your face.definetly show portion of helmet if helmet is less than 180 degrees of lens. max cohn sells the .3 on his website. You can find it at http://www.generationfreefly.com. My personal favorite is the .42 Levin vSCR#
