tobiasz 0 #1 June 30, 2003 I want to jump with one of the coach on Swedish Friflaj Festival. My sti is very good and now is the good time to learn headdown ;-) Everyone said "take coach and learn from him", so i decide to take 10 jumps with one of them and 20,30 jumps to train on the festival. Wich one of them is the best to learn (not necessarily best freefly'er)? Wich way is the best to spent this 30,40 jumps (10 with cach)? Thanks for advice. freeflyanvil 0 #2 June 30, 2003 The line up of coaches there is awesome! I dont think you would go wrong with any of them. I have heard that Omar is very approachable and an excellent coach. I've also heard the same about Ippo, Steve O, and Max. I've jumped with Brian and had a blast - he's really cool to talk to, and has some great things to teach. A friend of mine also did some sit coaching with him, and they were impressed with what they got out of it. Adam Rosen is an excellent coach also! I did about 5 coach jumps with him when I started sitflying, and learned quite a bit. Very approachable also. Colon Berry is excellent too. Ive done a whole bunch of coach jumps with him and have learned sooo much stuff. Like I said, the entire line up is great, and I really dont think you could go wrong with any of them.Vid "stons fal, evrysing fals, but doesnt on purpos change its flite pas an positioning..." At 130 jumps don't expect too much of yourself and do a couple of fun jumps between every coach jump (last year I did 35 coach jumps back to back, big mistake). tosca 0 #5 July 3, 2003 I think it depends on what kind of coaching style you like. Go there, do some jumps and just hang around and pay attention to how how different coaches take care of other skydivers at your experience level. If you got a video of yourself, ask one of the coaches when they not busy if they would like to take a look at it and give you advise. Then you´ll find out if you like the way she/he gives feed back. One thing I would like is that the coach who is serious, have enough time to give good feed back and plan the jumps carefully.
