freeflybella 0 #6 October 24, 2003 I know. I realized in my above post that I used 'sniff' in a way that could be misconstrued - I pretty much just grossed myself out. Action expresses priority. - Mahatma Ghandi
jdfreefly 1 #7 October 28, 2003 Sory dude...NOT!!!!! Hey, I gotta be me. Thanks to all the people that made Nationals a possibility for us this year, especially Skydive Crosskeys and Monkeyclaw. Oh yeah, we should also thank Taco Bell, the official fuel of Team Methane. That was an all around awesome experience. I would also like to say that the scores in no way indicate the talent of Gravity Rats, The Vibe or Green Eggs and Ham. You guys all flew your asses off! Methane Freefly - got stink? Vertifly 0 #8 October 28, 2003 Everyone had such a great time down there. Thanks Bella-babe!!! Methane kicked as down there! The rounds they submitted were impressive - very clean movements and performed SNAPPY!!! The Eric's and I will be back with a vengence for next season. Perhaps we'll even read the rules before we get down. That means - watch out! We're coming back greener than ever and over-easy! Nationals is such an experience that it was worth the trip just to be there. I wouldn't miss the opportunity to reunite with old friends and make all the new ones. Our thanks goes out to Lake Wales and all of the officials for handling the comp like pros. CROSSKEYS REPRESENT!
totalbodypilot 0 #9 October 28, 2003 I Think everyone had fun,...but instead of pating each other on the backs, Team Jank should get all the honors for winning GOLD! seek and destroy, clear and sweep, what ever you want to call it, its all fun in games in the game of war. Vertifly 0 #10 October 28, 2003 Sure, Jank rocked!!!...and their routines kick ass in freefly too. But everyone who put up there own time and money to compete deserves recognition.

Vertifly 0 #13 October 29, 2003 Congrats to me for being the only person to mess up the CRW dudes! Wups!!!!
JankyBob 0 #14 October 31, 2003 Thanks Colin! After what happened last year (camera mal on final jump so we got a zero) it was very gratifying to take the gold. Top-to-bottom I thought the competition level was vastly superior this year, although last year's int. champs (Anamoly) stole the show this year. I'm glad it didn't have any effect on the outcome, but what was the deal with Methane's rejump on the camera mal? Bob Team Jank
jdfreefly 1 #15 October 31, 2003 The rejump...ahhh Well, I told the judges that if they didn't give us a rejump, I was going to walk into their room and just start cutting loose with remnants of last nights taco bell! Actually, I was surprised as all hell that we got a rejump. I really was expecting to end up taking a big fat goose egg on that one. Also, we weren't aware at the time that you guys had actually turned down a rejump the previous year. That might have had some effect on our decision. I'm interested in your opinion, do you think we should not have taken the rejump? Anyway, you guys kicked some serious ass in the last 2 rounds. Methane Freefly - got stink? JankyBob 0 #16 October 31, 2003 Last year we knew that by doing a rejump we were going to take a medal away from someone. At the time, it just didn't feel right. I think you have every right to ask for a rejump, that's why they have the camera committee. Last year they suggested that I talk to the other competitors to get their thoughts on allowing a rejump. Everyone was cool about it, but we just decided that we would chalk it up as a learning experience. Plus, being a vegetarian, I didn't have the "ammunition" you guys had to sway thier decision. It was a very painful medal ceremony! You guys definitely deserved your medal and even with a zero on the round I think the final results would have been the same, right? Hope to see you all in Perris next year, if not before. The Rob Harris Memorial Boogie/Competition will be in Eloy in April and we will definitely be there. They are having both open and intermediate freeflying competitions and the trophies are PHAT! Bob Team Jank
jdfreefly 1 #17 October 31, 2003 Well, we are allready thinking about next year. Maybe I can convince the rest of the team to go to Eloy but I doubt it. Methane Freefly - got stink?
Vertifly 0 #18 November 1, 2003 Oh damn. I didn't know that the judges gave out a re-jump. That kinda stinks considering our situation. Oh well, like I said, 'watch out' - we will not make the same mistake on doing the compulsaries out of order. LOL
